7-13-08 Update: Now that I’ve had my computer for a few months and have needed help solving a registry problem that I had with Vista, I am thankful that I purchased it from Puget. Their customer service folks are exceptional. This was not the easiest of problems to solve, but Heather worked with me into the July 4th weekend to effectively troubleshot the problem and solve it. Puget provides good old fashioned tech support that has long since been farmed out to cheap oversees labor by other PC companies. Additionally, I want to say that if you value a well designed quiet machine, Puget’s line of quiet desktops are really a joy to use. The machine is whisper quite and powerful. You can’t really say enough about Puget. Truly a rare company.

Professional service and great feedback on the custom system required. Great communication and emails were sent to update us on the step-by-step process. The computer was delivered in good packaging (on top of the original case packaging) padded with foam. Highly recommended for professional system builds.

I received my order with in 24 hours of the time it was placed. They kept me informed with e-mails as to the status of my order and included a shipping confirmation with tracking number. The items were exactly as advertised, fairly priced and well packaged for a safe shipment. What more could I ask for? Will shop here first the next I need computer hardware!

It is rare in this day and age to find a company that is as dedicated to complete customer satifaction as you are. Very good communication. Excellent product built to specification. Extremely fast delivery. Doubt I will every buy a computer anywhere else.

Puget Custom Computers has an informative, well designed and creative web site, which is helpful in all phases of evaluating, configuring, ordering a system and tracking every phase of the build, test, shipping and billing process. You can click on any component you are considering to view its specifications in detail, including links to the manufacturer’s home page. I checked the Puget favorite components (denoted by a gold star) I was considering against reviews by independent testing organizations and user reviews. In every case the reviews validated the Puget recommendations. I also found the personal assessment of components by the company’s president and members of the staff helpful. You can ask for a quote and if you wish Puget will give you the benefit of their recommendation. (I did both). When I placed an order for a system, the following comment was attached to the CPU “Comments: The Intel E8400 is available and your quote has been upgraded at no cost to you. Please ask your Puget rep if you have any questions.”

This is clearly an organization of people who love what they do and it shows in every department. They are knowledgeable, friendly and easy to work with. Questions are answered promptly. In my experience questions were answered on the same day. I would buy from Puget Systems again and I will recommend the company to friends and acquaintances who ask for technical advice.

Everything from the start was extremely timely and professional. I got a response back quick and all my questions were answered. The hardcover book with all the computer specs and manufacturer sites was incredibly impressive and also having to not have to send for the recovery disks is yet another bonus feature as far as I’m concerned.

After I got all my programs loaded on the laptop is preformed better than expected and I do a bit of music production and mixing.

Overall I am extremely impressed with this company and I will be a return customer. As far as other computer manufactures go like HP, Toshiba and Alienware; I am finished with them and their not worth the headache anymore. I will let my friends know also to give you a look because they are also sick of the same things.

An excellent excellent computer buying experience! 1.) The sales department was knowledgeable – they helped me configure a machine that fit my needs perfectly. 2.) I decided to upgrade the hard drive when the machine was already built and Puget made the update without delaying the delivery. 3.) The computer was packaged well and delivered fast. 4.) Along with the computer was a binder that contained all the information for my computer. Also, all the left-over parts from the build were neatly packaged in a box for future use. 5.) The support department is excellent. They responded quickly to my requests. They are knowledgeable and very eager to help. Bottom line is you’re not dealing with a poorly trained person that you can’t understand as is the case with other companies. My initial experience with Puget is that I have a partner that will be there to help me when I need it for the life of the computer. 6.) The attention to detail and orderliness when you open the box is impressive. Every cable is neatly routed and fastened in place. 7.) My closing thoughts – There’s a reason why Puget has a lifetime ResellerRating of 9.93. Excellent computer! Excellent people to deal with! I recommend them with out reservation.

I’m a first time customer of Puget Systems and can’t say enough about how great they are. When I was looking for a new system, I tried the big names (Dell, HP, Alienware) and couldn’t get a configuration that was just right for what I needed. Also knowing that my previous Dell was limited in upgrade options, the search was on to find a company that could do what I wanted for a system.

I came across Puget Systems back in October 2007 and started playing around with configurations. When I decided on one to work with, I decided to have it reviewed and heard back from William the same day. He gave great feedback, and unusual were ways to trim down the cost. Usually, salespeople will upsell you as much as possible. This honesty is something I appreciate and it helped since there were certain things I didn’t ultimately need.

6 months later when I finally had money to go ahead with the system, I placed the order which was on 4/16/08. Their communication is awesome, and I knew where my system was every step of the way. It arrived a day early on 4/22/08 and it was the best packing job I have ever seen.

I plugged the system in and I love that everything was perfect from the start. No junkware to delete, all updates were taken care of, and the system was ready. Try getting that from any of the big names…it’s not gonna happen. I also love how they give you the spare parts that came with what you buy. Also, all information is put together in a 3-ring binder and it shows how your system tested along with any software and manufacturer contacts. Again, you will never see this type of detail with the big names.

1 week since getting the system, its running perfectly and have set it up in a wireless network with no problems. I cant believe how quiet it is also. After working with computers for years, I can honestly say this is the best built system that I have been able to work with. You can tell these people have a passion for what they do, and they build it like its their own.

If you are unsure of Puget, I would like to say give them a shot and work with them. They will take the time to help you out and build you exactly what you want, not something you don’t need. I’m glad I gave them the chance, and my next purchase (a notebook) will definitely be from them. Keep up the great work!!

I came back a repeat customer because my last purchase through them was the most satisfying computer purchase I had ever had.
I received honest feedback on the system I had configured, and the prompt communications back from Puget were very informative.
When my PC was configured, they emailed me pictures both inside and out of the new system. The care in which the cabling was tied down made me realize that they send you these pictures not only to get you excited, but also to show how proud they are of their finished product.

When it arrived, I was SHOCKED to see that all the documentation for my individual parts and the system sale as a whole were arranged in a 3 ring binder for safe keeping.

I intentionally didn’t start this testimonial by talking about the quality of the system and the parts they use, and I assure you, the quality is top-notch, but anyone can provide high quality merchandise. The difference with Puget is they match the quality of their product with the quality of their customer service, and that is far more rare.

When I configured my second system, I was thrilled to get a correspondence from the same employee that helped me with my first purchase, he took time to personally research a concern I had over the noise level of a certain high end Video card and got back to me with honest feedback.
I have worked with computers for years, so it’s not an unknown to me, but for many people it is, and what I would like to say to any of you unsure about your new potential purchase, is that if you just tell your representative at Puget what your desires and concerns are, they will guide you to a purchase that is right for you.
