Puget Systems Partners with Comino to Deliver ‘Hyper-Performance’ Multi-GPU Server Solutions Optimized for Machine Learning and Inference Tasks; New Servers to Debut at GTC 2025
Puget Systems Branded Comino Grando Server Packed with 2TB of Micron DDR5 5600 RAM for Ultimate Performance and Reliability
Auburn, WA (March 17, 2025) – Puget Systems today announced it has entered into a partnership with Comino to now offer multi-GPU server solutions optimized for AI research, machine learning, deep learning, and inference tasks. With this partnership, Puget Systems is significantly expanding its offerings for custom, highly specialized AI Training and Inference servers with the addition of the Puget Systems-branded Comino Grando Server.
Comino specializes in high-performance liquid-cooled multi-GPU servers and workstations, offering custom-designed solutions that cover everything from the chassis to advanced cooling systems. Comino’s liquid cooling technologies enable GPU densities otherwise incapable in traditional air-cooled server racks and their design allows for flexible configurations and easy maintenance. As a result of the new partnership, all Puget Systems Comino Grando Server solutions will be pre-assembled and tested by Comino, then shipped to Puget Systems’ headquarters in Auburn, WA where the Puget Systems integration team will install the operating system, configure software packages and services, and perform benchmarking and testing to ensure performance and reliability before shipping the Puget Server solution.
Debuting at GTC 2025: What GTC Attendees Will See
Making its industry debut at GTC 2025, the new Puget Systems Comino Grando Server is engineered as a ‘hyper-performance’ multi-GPU solution for the most advanced and resource-intensive computational tasks. To meet the demanding requirements of such GPU-intensive applications, like AI research, machine learning, deep learning, and inference tasks, the Comino Grando offers a number of powerful features, including:
- Support for up to 8 GPUs and 2 CPUs;
- High-performance, high-reliability RAM featuring Micron 8x 32GB DDR5 5600;
- Engineered for versatile deployment, whether mounted in a rack or placed on a table;
- Redundant Power supply system up to 4x 2000W hot-swap CRPS modules (Redundancy modes: 4+0, 3+1, 2+2) and Power capacity up to 6.4kW;
- Scalable fan options from Ultra-performant, high noise level with up to 5.5 kW cooling capacity to Low-performant, silent operation with up to 2.5 kW cooling capacity;
- Liquid Cooling Capacity up to 5.5kW ensuring peak performance under the heaviest workloads;
- Optional installation of up to 8 hot swap SSDs (SATA or NVME).
The Puget Systems Comino Grando Servers are designed to operate in air-cooled racks, even in environments with ambient temperatures as high as 40°C, making them suitable for older infrastructures. They are also optimized for water-cooled racks, enabling low PUE operations.
Micron Partnership Ensures Reliable Performance
Puget Systems partnership with Micron ensures that each Puget Systems Comino Grando Server is configured with the industry’s highest-performing, most reliable Micron memory. A fully configured Comino Grando Server, packed with 2TB of Micron DDR5 5600 memory, will be showcased in the Puget Systems booth #1708 at the GTC 2025 conference this week.
