Puget Systems Announces Strategic Partnership with Vū to Drive Standardization of Virtual Production Computer Hardware at NAB 2022
Vū Names Puget Systems as Exclusive Computer Hardware Vendor for All Facilities Nationwide; Debuts New Las Vegas Location Powered by Puget Systems
Auburn, WA (April 18, 2022) – Puget Systems today announced it has entered into a strategic partnership with Vū, a technology company specializing in virtual production based in Tampa, FL. As a result of this partnership, Puget Systems and Vū will engage in a collaborative effort to drive standardization of virtual production hardware for the industry.
The two companies have also entered into an agreement naming Puget Systems as the exclusive workstations provider for the entire Vū network across the country. Beginning with the launch of the Las Vegas location, Vū will be standardizing on Puget Systems workstations for both their artist and render node needs. Vū is hosting a Grand Opening celebration of its new state-of-the-art Las Vegas virtual production facility on Friday, April 22, 2022.
Additionally, during NAB 2022 in Las Vegas, Puget Systems workstations will be powering Vū’s virtual production demonstrations and LED wall displays in their NAB booth #C6746 and on the NAB 2022 Main Stage in the Central Lobby. The official NAB 2022 keynote presentations will be delivered on the primary speaker stage using a massive, 100-foot-wide x 20 feet tall Vū LED Volume and powered by Puget Systems workstations. It will be the largest of its kind at NAB 2022. Vū is also featuring an engaging, immersive virtual attraction in its booth called the “Unreal Ride,” powered by Puget Systems.
