In terms of connectivity, this board is well rounded. It has HDMI 1.4 video output for use with the Intel graphics built into the CPU - a great backup option, in case the dedicated video card in a system isn't working. For memory it has four DDR4 slots, allowing up to 128GB of 2666MHz RAM. Drive connectivity includes six SATA III ports plus two M.2 slots, though use of the M.2 slots prevents using some of the SATA ports. It also has both analog and digital audio outputs, gigabit Ethernet, WiFi, Bluetooth, two USB 2.0 ports, four USB 3.0 ports, and two 3.1 ports. Two Thunderbolt 3 ports are also present, using Type C connectors which can double as additional USB 3.1 ports. For expansion cards, there are five total PCI-Express slots in varying sizes. SLI and Crossfire are supported as well, though when two video cards are installed the PCI-E slots they are in run at x8 speed rather than x16.
Note: When the bottom M.2 slot is populated, it will disable SATA port 0. When the top M.2 slot is populated, it will disable SATA ports 4-5.
