The Glyph Studio RAID 4 is a production-grade, four-drive external RAID. It supports USB 3.0, Firewire 800, and eSATA connections. Glyph offers this model in capacities from 4 to 32TB, with this being the 32TB version. That describes the total raw capacity of the drives inside the RAID. When used in the default RAID 5 mode, the capacity will be cut by 25% to provide data redundancy. If the full capacity is needed the you can set the array to RAID 0 or JBOD mode instead.
Glyph assembles and tests all of their external drives here in the US, and is committed to product quality and customer service. Their drives include three years of full warranty coverage, along with two years of data recovery and one year of advance replacement. Glyph products purchased through Puget Systems include that full 3-2-1 warranty through Glyph's own support team.
