There is currently a bug in the Windows 7 Experience Index tool where it is unable to complete the system performance assessment due to an error of "Could not measure system memory performance". This occurs because WEI detects the CPU cache size (25MB) and doubles the cache size value as the input parameter of the buffer size (50MB). The tool is limited to support a buffer size of 32MB, so a buffer larger than this size causes an error. This has only been found to affect WEI and should not impact system performance.
