The Asetek 824S-M1A is a high-end, all-in-one liquid cooling system designed for AMD Threadripper processors. To best cool these high-wattage CPUs, it features a full-size cold plate and large 240mm radiator with two 120mm fans. A powerful pump is integrated directly above the water block, but its compact profile ensures there is no interference with RAM module access or PCI-Express slots.
This smaller size (compared to 360mm radiators) makes this an ideal fit for rackmount systems, taking up less space and allowing some unobstructed intake airflow for GPUs and other expansion cards. In such configurations, we include a pair of Noctua iPPC fans to provide good airflow through the radiator - but they do generate a moderate amount of noise.
