The Asetek 650LS is an all-in-one CPU liquid-cooling solution, a compromise between full custom liquid-cooling (which is much more complex, expensive, and prone to leaking) and a traditional metal heatsink. This brings some advantages, like having less weight pulling on the CPU socket and generally pulling heat away from the CPU more quickly, but also has downsides like the pump being an additional mechanical point of failure.
Like a normal heatsink, this cooling system also requires a fan - in this case, a 120mm model attached to the radiator. The quality, speed, and placement of the fan can all impact how well the 650LS is able to cool the processor.
