Assembly and Cabling
We have received a lot of praise here at Puget for the time and care we put into proper assembly of our computers. Within each workstation we build, components are positioned to avoid creating hot spots and to maximize cooling efficiency. We also take great care to run all the cabling so it does not restrict air flow, and so that it looks great if you ever need to open the system up and work on it!

You guys rock! Specs are perfect, documentation is excellent and set up was easy. I have already recommended you to friends, and will continue to preach of Pugets Quality of Service. Above & Beyond!

I like my new Puget computer, especially the speed compared to my old Dell computer. And, living in a hot desert, I think its great that it has an exceptional cooling system, which may prevent overheating.
And, I was pleased with how fast it arrived, and that it had a nice documentation folder in case I ever need it. My employee Phil Crowe at [email protected] did a great job of transferring all my data and programs from the old computer to the new Puget computer.
Beyond that, I am trusting that superior components will mean reliability, durability, and fewer complications.

I needed a fast computer mainly for video editing, but was also going to use it for general business, too . At first I was going to buy a Dell or HP, but the more I researched the more I thought, “What about a custom machine without all the bloatware? Having the exact set up I want might be better!”
Then my research got more complicated, because I didn’t know who was a good custom computer maker for video editing systems. After a lot of Web searching, I found Puget. Checked out their reputation, and decided to call.
Went to their site, designed a rough system, and then spoke to a rep named Jeff. He said what I’d designed was pretty good, and that it just needed some tweaks. We talked about what I wanted, and he made good recommendations for changes. He really took the time to educate me on the choices and nuances. I felt empowered to make some wise decisions.
The system arrived on-time, in perfect condition, and I’ve been using it happily for a couple of months now. I’m so glad I found Puget. It feels good to deal with a company that knows the value of good customer service.

I stumbled onto Puget Systems quite by accident and decided to give them a try. I’ve personally built up well over a dozen computers on my own but time no longer permits me to much of that. I checked out Puget and went through their easy to navigate customization screens. It was absolutely brainless except for a couple of minor questions regarding modifications I wanted. I used their “contact us” section via e-mail to send off my inquiries (expecting to hear back in a day or so). Within a matter of a couple of hours they (in particular, Jeff), were back to me. We kept up an ongoing dialogue because one question I had led to another, primarily regarding possible future business with Puget if I was happy with their first product to me. The prices were, I thought, quite fair given what I know would have been my component costs if I had built my own with the same apparatus.
I was still suspicious that all wouldn’t quite be as “rosy” as I had hoped until the computer arrived within 5 business days of ordering. I was stunned to find that this computer and all of its installation details was given a link on their web page so that I could examine the progress of the build and exactly which technicians installed and tested various components. At every step of the process I was kept fully briefed (to the point of overkill compared to what I’m used to). When the computer arrived I got right into it and began loading the programs I wanted. (This was a duo-core computer, 2 gigs of rAM, and a new 320 gig SATA2 drive. When I first turned it on my reaction was “Aha! I was write. Something’s wrong already.” I believed this for about 10 seconds until I saw the screen come up with the Windows XP Pro logo. I was stunned because I couldn’t hear a thing from the computer. It was totally silent. When they offer the option of a “silent computer” they mean it…believe me.
Bottom line is this: I’m thrilled with the job they did. The wiring harnesses and layout were beautifully done, obviously with great care and attention. When the package arrived they included a binder notebook indicating all of the scores of high-tech tests, including temperature vs performance tests they used to benchmark this unit. For my money, literally and figuratively, this is the way to go. Goodbye Dell and HP! Thank you Puguet.
Lest you think I’m a paid shill I am absolutely not. I hold a Ph.D. in broadcasting, worked at Xavier University for 30 years, and have never had nor do I have a relationship of any kind with Puguet except as a current and future customer. Thanks for reading this. Try them…you’ll be impressed if your experience was even remotely like mine.

I own a small business that does custom computer programming, and in the last twenty years I have bought more than fifty computers from a variety of stores and manufacturers. I have never been more impressed with a computer hardware vendor. The technical knowledge of the staff is amazing, and the quality of their customer service is unparalleled. My experience with Puget has been a delight, and I recommend them wholeheartedly.

A very good group of people, who work well and quickly.
They respond as quickly as they can from the very beggining, and are willing to work with you on their schedule.
My representative, William George, was very friendly and helpful. He worked with me every step of the way, and even instead of telling me just one way of building the computer, he looked at my needs and budget limitations, and created different solutions and possibilities. That is what amazed me the most.
Puget isn’t out for your money! They’re out to build you the machine that suits you best! The machine that’ll work hardest for you.
Puget works with you since the beginning, and they stay with you long past whenever the order is ready to be placed. That’s what I love about Puget!
A real human responds to your questions, and they treat you like a real human being! They are respectful, curious, and seem to be genuinely concerned about what would fit YOUR needs the best, there is too little of that in the world today.
Professional, helpful, quick, effective, polite, and respectful. Garunteed to be the best online computer customization/building crew you’ve ever used.
10/10
Wonderful!

By far the best company I have done business with in ordering a custom PC. I was so sick of buying a DELL or any PC from another Manufacture and having it preloaded with all the programs you don’t need. The whole experience with Puget was positive and the system works perfectly. I love the extra special service you receive, such as a nice binder with all your system’s info in one place, backup CD’s, warranty info, etc. A very nice touch.

I found out about Pudget Systems from my neice who purchased a system from Puget nearly two years ago. She’s never had any trouble and when she had a question, “Uncle Joe, real people answered the phone.” So I decided to upgrade from my dell XPS to a 65-bit system with accessible memory so that I could edit the hours and hours of video that I’ve taken. Jeff from Puget was very helpful: recommending some changes that better suited my needs, recommending that some of my features weren’t really necessary for my purposes and generally guiding me through the design of a system that suits my needs.
The system worked right out of the box and I’ve had no problems. My biggest hesitation was going with Vista 64 bit when Windows 7 lurked over the horizon. I figured with the level of expertise I was getting from Puget, I could move to Windows 7 later if Vista turns out to be another dead end for Microsoft. There are still some limitiations on the availability of drivers and some software issues (e.g. Adobe Elements 7 doesn’t work with 64 bit Vista) but those are not Puget Systems issues. I have already recommended Pudget Systems to a friend who is a games fanatic but she decided to wait until the Windows 7 vs. Vista issue settled down.

Puget Systems has given me an incredible experience in my computer purchase. I’d been going through the motions of looking for a new computer, as the last two I’d built on my own and ended up with extremely loud comps. I wanted something quiet. I was about to settle with Dell (again..) when I googled “quiet computers” and was linked to Puget.
The service was extremely helpful, doing things like checking what I’d chosen for a comp to see if it’d be quiet enough, to willingly switching out both the RAM and motherboard I’d chosen AFTER I’d placed the order. I didn’t think that was possible from a computer company.
I’m using the comp right now – it’s quiet as a tomb. The packaging was flawless, the comp looks and acts terrific, and I’m one satisfied customer. These guys know what they’re doing. If you want a truly great computer shopping experience, go with Puget. Thanks Jeff!

I just bought my system a couple weeks ago. Everything went fine except for some weird incompatibility issue with the sound card. Puget was very apologetic and shipped the system back for me and upgraded the sound card for free. They also thoroughly re-tested it and and went through each component to be sure there were no more issues and sent it back out to me. I sent it in on a Thurs. and got it back the following Friday. It’s quiet, powerful, and running very smoothly. I credit Jeff and the awesome tech support team (although they lack social skills compared to Jeff 🙂 ) for a positive experience.
Oh yes, and I love my computer. It’s freaking fast and amazingly quiet (and it looks cool too).
