Within each workstation we build, components are positioned to avoid creating hot spots and to maximize cooling efficiency. We also take great care to run all the cabling so it does not restrict air flow, and so that it looks great if you ever need to open the system up and work on it!

Puget Systems is the best of all the companies I have ever dealt with. I have experienced a great attitude, quality, attention to detail and excellence when I purchased my desktop. They have made me feel like I am part of the process.

Starting with their recommended system for Photoshop, two phone discussions led to my upgrading and subtracting items from their baseline system. The phone representatives were very straightforward, knowledgeable and helpful. They did not advise me to spend money for the sake of spending money; the goal was value for each item and, indeed, they pointed out one key area where a very modest change would significantly increase productivity. Thankfully they did not come across as salesmen.

As the unit was assembled, performance tested, examined in quality control (including a heat IR photo and a temperature graph, performance testing and 44 BIOS setting photos) and prepared for Fedex ground shipping I received informative updates. I placed my order late on a Monday and it was delivered to my home (1500 miles driving distance) Saturday of the following week. The boxing was impressive and the unboxing instructions were very thorough. A 3 ring notebook with performance testing results, original CD’s and recovery USB drive was included along with various cables and instructions for their use. And they also included extra hardware for potential future upgrades.

Nice complementary polo shirt. And I appreciated their complementary installation of my software preferences.

The desktop is very quiet (air cooled). A nice touch was a 3 week checkup email asking for comments and if I needed any assistance. The performance is superb and Photoshop works so smoothly. After using the computer for 3 weeks I’m very pleased with it and brag about it and Puget Systems to my friends.

I’ve bought a lot of computer equipment over the years. But I’ve never had an experience quite like dealing with Puget Systems. It’s not just that the computer itself is stellar (although it is). It’s the confidence that comes from dealing with a vendor that obviously knows their stuff and the ability to customize every detail and still get a system with the fit and polish of an off-the-shelf product.

I used to assemble computers from parts in the early days of the PC industry. I briefly considered purchasing parts and assembling a system myself to save a few bucks. Then I had a flashback to the endless tech support calls with parts vendors, the RMA numbers for returning defective components, the Russian roulette of whether a given set of components would work together seamlessly, browsing user forums trying to determine why I was getting some random error, etc. I decided that I am not a masochist. Dealing with a vendor who knows the current technology, has experience with the quirks of each component they use, and knows which components play well with others is invaluable. Add to that the thorough testing they do (which they share with you) and the overall buying experience and I would buy another system from Puget in a heartbeat.

I purchased the Serenity Pro system. It is as-advertised–so quiet that I have to check the light on the power button to see if it’s on. Speed, build quality and delivery were exactly as promised. I couldn’t be happier with a computer purchase.

So, I had my desktop machine built by Puget Systems, in 2009. That’s right, 10 years ago! Aside from memory and graphics card upgrades this box has been running like a charm, and will continue to do so (my son is exited to inherit it). This testimonial was written a little more than a year after purchasing my desktop system from Puget. Earlier on, I planned on writing an admiring, glowing, and full of praise description of both my buying experience and the initial performance of this new system. But, after reviewing some of the previous testimonials, I could see that praise was obviously not lacking and I thought that perhaps if I waited a while I might find something else of substance to write about. Something that might be more meaningful to new readers. Something that might include problems, issues, or disappointments. Well, a year has gone by and I have now tired of waiting. All has been good and all is still good. All the praises you will find in other testimonials do apply here, too. So, instead of repeating words like fast, quiet, cool, silent, stable, expertise, helpful, informative, I’ll leave only a few words that describe my reasons for choosing Puget Systems. Everyone has differing reasons. I hope mine are interesting or helpful to you.

I don’t use my computer for professional purposes. I use it mostly for personal enjoyment and have been purchasing home computers since the 1990’s. Or earlier. Can’t recall exactly when I got my first but I do know it was back when Radio Shack was selling their TRS-80 and Color Computers. Since then I’ve purchased or built several more and used them primarily to support my interest in photography. When I turned 80 years old (last year), I decided to treat myself with the PC of my dreams. After lots of research, I found Puget Systems. I described my photography needs/applications to Puget and they assisted in establishing the specs for what I purchased: a cool, quiet, fast, stable desktop computer. One of the previous testimonials that I read said: “Everything else (Dell, Lenovo, etc.) seems like a toy after you use a Puget Systems.” Perfectly put.

One additional comment: In all my earlier computers that I bought or built, I always found myself having to tweak the Windows operating system’s user settings as time went by. I almost think that Puget anticipated the user needs of someone like me and preset the optimum choices. All I know is that Windows 10 has performed flawlessly since day one. Maybe I should be giving the credit to Microsoft instead …. but I doubt it. All I know is everything is rock solid and I’m now a happy octogenarian.
